A Letter Never Sent

I was running the other day and heard this song. I wanted to send it to someone because the lyrics were exactly what I was feeling, but I didn't want what I could see being any number of bad reactions to it.

So the letter, or text, was never sent:

Blink 182 - "Here's your letter"

Cut the skin to the bone
Fall asleep all alone
Hear your voice in the dark
Lose myself in your mind
Choke my voice Say goodnight
as the world falls apart
Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this

Here's a letter for you
But the words get confused
And the conversation dies
Apologize for the past
Talk some shit take it back
Are we cursed to this life

Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this

I'm talking to the ceiling
My life just lost all meaning
Do one thing for me tonight
I'm dying in this silence

The last star left in heaven
Is falling down to earth and
Do you still feel the same way
Do you still feel the same way

Fuck I can't let this kill me, let go
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this problem
I need some more time to fix this

Stuck in my head

I get carried away, carried away, from you
When I'm open and afraid
Cause I'm sorry, sorry 'bout that
Sorry 'bout things that I've said
Always let it get to my head

Wake up in the morning, wake up in the evening
Wake up when you want to
'Cause no one's really watching
Wish you had something to say about it
But we all have problems
We're all having problems
And we all got something to say

Passion Pit "Carried Away"

I think this is stuck in my head because of the catchy-ness and it applies to conversations that I've had with people and relationships. I feel like I want to help my friends solve their problems, but really they they need to work it out for themselves. Who is to say my opinion or what I think is better or more informed than theirs. If I try to help, who is to say they will even listen?
